Exploration into the possibility of alternative epistemologies.

The paper will explore the possibility of alternative epstemologies. In particular in regards to the concept of 'science' in western philosophy and discuss it in light of non-mainstream western and non-western philosophies. The objective of the discussion will be to expose some of the limits of the concpet of 'science' and by that its reductive character. As ending remarks some opening observations will be drawn on the impacts that this 'reductionism' may have on western 'democracy' and humanities.
